#Pinkbox Dignity Vending Machines
What is a #Pinkbox Dignity Vending Machine?
The #Pinkbox Dignity Vending Machine is a vending machine that dispenses FREE packs of six tampons and two pads to those in need. Share the Dignity supply the period products in the vending machine, install the machine and keep it supplied with free products with the help of our incredible volunteers.
Please note, due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, some Dignity Vending Machines are not accessible. We have updated our map to show only the open vending machines. We will be continually updating this map to show the most up to date information.
Share the Dignity is proud to place #Pinkbox Dignity Vending Machines in areas where women and girls need them most. We believe that access to pads and tampons is a right, not a privilege and that no woman should ever have to choose between eating and living with dignity. At Share The Dignity we are passionate about empowering women and girls to live a life of dignity and safety. To ensure access to pads and tampons to the most vulnerable women and girls, we’re installing #Pinkbox Dignity Vending Machines in public toilets, charities, homeless hubs, domestic violence refuges, community centres, Aboriginal health services and schools across Australia. We’ve selected locations where they are needed most. Each #Pinkbox Dignity Vending Machine is programmed with a delivery delay of 10 minutes to ensure that no period packs are wasted.
Inspiration for our Dignity Vending Machines
We were shocked to hear that women were using rolled up toilet paper and hand towels to manage their periods. We were shocked to hear that girls in remote areas are opting to miss school rather than risk humiliation because they can’t afford pads and tampons. The state of homelessness and poverty in Australia is shocking. We acted. We created the #Pinkbox.

Donate “Period Packs” for our #Pinkboxes
Each period pack dispensed by our machines contains two pads and six tampons. Each machine holds 59 packs and has a 10 minute dispensing delay to prevent waste. We have done everything in our power to make sure every single pack goes to a woman in need. Each pack costs Share the Dignity $2. You can help us by donating $2 so a woman can live with dignity for day?
Donating $120 will allow us to fill an entire Dignity Vending Machine, or donate $2 to help one woman for a day, every little helps.
